Sean has been with LifeCare since 2001 serving as a Family Preservation Specialist, Case Manager, Intake Specialist, Therapist and Administrator. He earned his Bachelors of Science in Psychology from David Lipscomb University, a Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Trevecca University and is licensed as Senior Psychological Examiner. Sean currently serves as the Vice President/COO.

Dr. Thomas is the Clinical Director for LifeCare Family Services. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and Approved Clinical Supervisor. Dr. Thomas’ specialties include cognitive behavioral treatment of anxiety (social anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, generalized anxiety), depression, anger issues, substance abuse, bipolar, self-injury, and maintaining effective personal boundaries. Dr. Thomas’ research interests include attachment, fatherlessness, aggressive and violent behavior, suicidal behaviors, and clinical supervision.

Patrick Henry therapistPatrick Henry, MA received his Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University in Psychology and his Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University Sarasota, Florida. He received post master’s training in Rational Emotive Behavior and Cognitive Behavior Therapy at the Albert Ellis Institute, NYC. Patrick has worked in inpatient, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment programs that treat mental health issues, and substance/alcohol dependency. Patrick works with clients across a broad range of ages from childhood to adults. His areas of interest include trauma, grief/loss, anger management, depression, bipolar, ADHD, anxiety, sexual issues, gender identity issues, and addiction. His therapeutic modalities of interest are individual, group, couple’s/marriage, and family therapy. Patrick studied music composition at The School of Creative and Performing Arts in San Diego, CA, and The California Institute of the Arts near Los Angeles. This background has lead him to incorporate music in mindfulness training, progressive relaxation, and guided imagery techniques used for anger management, reducing stress, and anxiety.

tory Woodard Tory A. Woodard, PMHNP is a board certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner.  His education includes a B.S. in Psychology from Tennessee State University, an M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Middle Tennessee University, and an MSN from Vanderbilt University.  Utilizing his faith, educational training, and professional experiences, Tory employs a natural, caring approach to promote well-being in the clients he serves. Tory works in several offices including Nashville, Murfreesboro and Lebanon.

Andrea YoungAndrea “Andie” Young is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor.  She graduated with honors from Webster University in 2010 with a master’s degree in counseling.  Andie has worked in outpatient community mental health.  She has experience helping clients with depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, grief/loss, adjustment disorders, addiction, posttraumatic stress disorder, anger management, ADHD, and uses therapy modalities such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), and Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).  She sees adults and children 8 and older.

Laurie ArrittLaurie Arritt, Operations Administrator   Laurie has a BS in Biblical Counseling from Trinity College and Seminary in Newburgh, IN.  Laurie also attended 3 ½ years at Auburn University where she majored in Behavior Disturbance. Laurie has been with LifeCare  Family Services since Sept 2002 and moved into the Operations position in 2014.
